Today is the day we have been waiting for, the Big Ten came down on Michigan and is enforcing a ban on him to even be on the sidelines during games for the rest of the year. How much does that effect UM and their team? Their offense? Who knows...
UM and JJ McArthy have been playing at extremely high level offensively, however they haven't had too many "tough" games. The one thing that stands out is that their offensively line has been underwhelming to say the least. That is definitely a cause for concern because PSU has one of the better defenses in the NCAA right now.
Granted, that doesn't reason help when their offense is not producing for them either. Drew Allan has struggled, the run game has not been as explosive as it has been in the past. PSU has blown out the teams that they should, but struggles against opponents that show any remount of talent.
James Dranklin is 5-10 all time against top 5 teams in his career, and 3-6 against Michigan while at PSU.
The line has moved a bit since last night where it was at UM -4. It opened at -5.5 and is now at -4.5.
I think the PSU defense is going to be the toughest test the Wolverines have faced all year, but the Penn State offense needs to show up with some explosive plays if it wants to keep up in the game.
For that reason I like the over in today's game. I did move the line a little.
Over 43.5
PSU is going to have to score, and the UM offense is going to score, it just depends how much, but I could see this game ended 27-24.
